Challenges

Bonita Bay Community Association realized the need to upgrade their current coaxial infrastructure, but did not know the local competitive landscape or the key executive provider management to expedite the process to ensure all key items were included through the complex negotiations. Residents were concerned about the reliability of the services they were receiving. The majority of residents were paying retail price for products and services such as video service, HD programming and DVR functionality, as well as Internet and modem equipment. The Technology Committee understood the importance of updated infrastructure, better service at a better value, and choosing a provider with a strong customer service reputation. Moreover, the Technology Committee understood that in order to recommend a new bulk agreement inclusive of these factors to the master board and residents, they needed to move quickly and effectively.
